CI, Dip and Pay Procedures – Fuel is in Rotterdam:
1. Buyer issues ICPO.
2. Seller issues Commercial Invoice. Buyer countersigns the CI and sends to Seller. Seller will then send
Commitment to Supply; and Product Availability which will be legalized by the appropriate authority.
3. Buyer to put up their banking instrument using either BG, SBLC or MT 799 Blocked Funds.
4. Sellers issues DTA to Buyer for Rotterdam Port. After successful verification of SGS/INTERTEK
Inspection Report, Seller provides Buyer with Tank information and changes Title Ownership from Seller
to End Buyer.
5. After the successful verification of DIP TEST results, Buyer makes payment for liftable product by MT103/
TT within 24 Hrs. Seller pays commissions as per IMPFA/ NCNDA to the intermediaries.
6. Lifting of the products commences.
CIF PROCEDURES:
1. Buyer issues the ICPO.
2. Seller sends the Contract to the Buyer open for amendments.
3. Buyer signs the contract and sends it back to the Seller for Legalization with the Authority, the expenses to
be borne by the Seller.
4. After the legalization of the contract, hard copy of the legalized contract will be sent to the Buyer together
with the PPOP namely, Statement of Availability of Product and Seller’s Commitment Letter to Supply.
5. Buyer will issue the Verbiage they want to use as proof of funds by MT799 BLOCK FUND, MT760,
SBLC, or BG with TOP PRIME Bank in the World.
6. After the confirmation of the Financial Instrument, Seller will issue the 2 % PB direct to the Buyer.
7. Upon confirmation of the 2 % PB, Seller provides Buyer the full information of the shipping company.
Buyer contacts the shipping company and finalizes the shipping schedule.
8. Seller sends to Buyer the Full Proof of Product (POP). The Full POP Documents include:
• Copy of license to export, issued by the department of the Ministry of Energy, from the Appropriate
Authority.
• Copy of Approval to Export, issued by the Ministry of Justice, From the Appropriate Authority
• Copy of statement of availability of the product.
• Copy of the refinery commitment to produce the product.
• Copy of contract to transport the product to the loading port.
• Copy of the port storage agreement.
• Copy of the charter party agreement(s) to transport the product to discharge port.
• Copy of Tank Storage Receipt.
• Copy of Vessel Questionnaire 88.
• Copy of Bill of Lading.
9. After the successful confirmation of the shipping documents and CIQ inspection at the discharge port,
Buyer’s Bank will release the money to the Seller’s Bank within 72 Hours and Seller can now settle and
pay all the commission involved, accordingly.
